"The Time Machine" is a kinetic sculpture and installation commissioned for Playtime New York 2012. Inspired by the works of H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, the mechanisms are all responsible for running themselves. The large gear in the middle drives the remaining blue gears in continuous motion, while the calendar within the control panel spins endlessly.
Children and adults alike were delighted, although the children at the event had a tendency to want to step up and move the parts around themselves.
The Time Machine was again exhibited as part of The Makery Pop Up location on Governor's Island, NY during the late summer 2014
